Electric Vehicles and EV Charging Network

EV Charging Points

Ore Valley Housing Associaton has made the adoption of electrified transport a priority so that the communities in which we serve can benefit from the oportunities presented by cleaner and greener travel.

Internally our fleet vehicles are all fully electric, an approach that was recognised with an award from GreenFleet as the 'Leading Electric Fleet - Real Estate Sector'.

OVHA has also established a network of electric vehice charging points at various locations in central Fife. There are four charging points at our head office in Cardenden, five at our Business Centre in Lochgelly and one in our residentail estate in Weavers Row, Lochgelly, a number of which are rapid chargers.

The points at our business centre in Lochgelly and Cardenden head office were the first publicly available EV charging points in either town, marking a significant step in the wider adoption of electric vehicles in central Fife, filling a gap in the network between Dunfermline, Kirkcaldy and Glenrothes.

Further points are planned for integration with future new build developments as we work to expand our network in the coming years and in line with national and local policy.
