Going Green Up For Discussion
Ore Valley Housing Association staged it's 'Green Future for Cardenden' event on Friday the 27th of September. Part of Fife Climate Festival 2024, we outlined the challenges faced in meeting our housing and net zero obligations and what the possible solutions might look like.
There was a great turn out from across the community to discuss issues such as net zero, Passivhaus, future domestic heating systems and our plans for district heating in Cardenden. Other topics covered included energy affordability, heat pumps, infrared heating, solar photovoltaics and ensuring decent air quality in homes.
Presenting were our CEO Nicholas Clark, our Enterprise and Sustainability Officer Ruxandra Cazan and colleagues from Cosy Kingdom.
