Community Clean-Up Day

On the 28th of November we held a Community Clean-up Day at Rosewell Drive, Lochore. The event was a great success and on the day we filled three 8 yard skips which equates to approx 18 tonnes of household rubbish.

Two skips were delivered at 9am to our Community Office at 42 Rosewell Drive for local residents to dispose of any rubbish. Office staff supported the Housing Team to assist tenants with using the skips and by 11am our tenants had almost filled both skips so we arranged for Recycle Fife to uplift the full skips and deliver a 3rd skip. 

Hot drinks, safety gloves & litter pickers were available for anyone who wanted to join members of Ore Valley staff for our community litter pick to help keep the local area clean & tidy and Safer Community Officers from Fife Council delivered leaflets about household recycling and provided general advice about their own service.
