Adult Education Classes
Ore Valley HA hosted its first adult education classes in November with attendees exploring various scientific topics as part of the 'Science for a Successful Scotland' class. The first lesson focused on DNA and participants undertook experiments to extract the DNA from bananas!
The courses are being run in collaboration with Workers' Educational Association who are the UK’s largest voluntary sector provider of adult education in England and Scotland. Founded in 1903, the WEA (Workers’ Educational Association) is a charity dedicated to bringing high-quality, professional education into the heart of communities. and OVHA are delighted to be collaborating with them to bring these lessons to our tenants and the wider community.
