A Green Future for Cardenden

OVHA is hosting a free drop-in event for tenants and residents focusing on the Association's plans for delivering a green future for the local community. The event is part of the Fife Climate Festival, a series of community-focused events running from the 21st of September to the 5th of October highlighting the work being done by various organisations across the Kingdom to address climate change.

The session will run from 12pm to 2pm on Friday the 27th of September and all are welcome.

For Ore Valley, the delivery of 'net zero' homes in the near future is an obligation and presents a massive challenge, both in terms of cost and technical solution. This event will be an opportunity to find out what our current position is, what our targets are and what our future plans may look like and how we will retrofit suitable solutions to our properties. 

We will have example technologies on display including solar panels, solar inverters and infrared heating as well as digital displays and short movies outlining our ongoing green projects...

Tea, coffee and nibbles will be provided and we look forward to welcoming anyone interested in attending...
